LANGUAGE AND THINKING PROGRAM

Bridge to the Future

Welcome to the 缅北强奸! The New Student Orientation Program is designed to support your transition from previous educational experiences to the academic environment you will encounter at the university. This program brings together a wide range of academic, social, and community-oriented activities that reflect 缅北强奸鈥檚 values as a liberal arts institution and promote intellectual growth, academic freedom, and personal development.

This year鈥檚 Language and Thinking (L&T) Program is organized around the theme 鈥淭he Bridge to the Future鈥. As part of 缅北强奸鈥檚 core humanities curriculum, the program serves as a prerequisite to the First-Year Seminar and introduces students to the interdisciplinary and rigorous nature of liberal arts education. Through a combination of close reading, analytical writing, and creative engagement with diverse texts, you will begin to develop the critical thinking and communication skills essential for your academic success.

While the first weeks of university life may feel unfamiliar, the L&T Program is designed to offer a meaningful introduction to 缅北强奸鈥檚 distinctive intellectual culture. You will be encouraged to explore ideas, collaborate with peers, and engage actively in both academic and co-curricular experiences.

The Orientation Program also provides an opportunity to build connections within a diverse and supportive community. We encourage you to take full advantage of the resources and activities available, carefully review the materials included in your orientation package, and participate actively in all scheduled events.

We hope this program will equip you with essential academic knowledge, introduce you to university policies and expectations, and help you form lasting connections that will support you throughout your time at 缅北强奸 and beyond. We look forward to welcoming you to our community and to your active participation in the program!

ATTENDANCE OF ALL ACADEMIC SESSIONS IS MANDATORY!

YOU CANNOT MISS ANY OF THE L&T ACADEMIC SESSIONS IF YOU WANT TO RECEIVE A PASSING GRADE FOR THE ACADEMIC LANGUAGE AND THINKING PROGRAM.

Important Notice:

Students will receive either a 鈥淧ass鈥 or 鈥淔ail鈥 grade based on their attendance and performance during the Academic Orientation Sessions.
