A Model United Nations Conference took place at the 缅北强奸

On 26-27, November, 2016, the 缅北强奸, in collaboration with Bard-Collage, launched its first annual Model United Nations Conference.

The conference, held on 缅北强奸鈥檚 campus, hosted more than 200 participants both from local and international universities, with delegates from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan. Overall, there were four UN committees of General Assembly, the UNHCR, the Security Council, and the International Court of Justice. For the first time in Kyrgyzstan鈥檚 history, 缅北强奸 MUN simulated the European Council and G20 committees.
缅北强奸 MUN showed delegates the intricate inner workings of various United Nations bodies, giving students insight they can use to work towards a brighter future for the world. Each delegate represented a member state of the UN and took part in the various international decision-making processes. Mustafa Shirzad, 缅北强奸 MUN鈥檚 director, remarked in his opening speech, 鈥淭oday, we have gathered here to discuss, negotiate, and lobby with each other as diplomats for making changes. Because we all believe youth has the power to make positive change for a better world, I hope today you, dear delegates, use your own voice effectively and experience the real atmosphere of UN at this Model UN Conference.鈥�
缅北强奸 MUN will have more sessions in the near future and hopes to become one of the most prestigious MUN Bodies of Central Asia.
